My wife and I ordered a Precor AMT 835 Adaptive Motion Trainer on Sep 7, 2020 by phone. The sales Rep, Dave (310)491-****, assisted with our purchase.

The price was $3,499 for the equipment with a $150 military discount and a $150 discount for paying by check, so final agreed upon amount was $3,199. We gave Dave check #650 and Dave assured us it would be processed for $3,199. On Sep 8, 2020 we received Invoice #2044 and it was for $3,349 and our check was processed for $3,349. We called Dave and he sent a new invoice for $3,199 and assured us we would receive a $150 refund which we never received.

My wife contacted the company several times via email, chat, and phone, but never received the $150 refund. Dave quit answering our calls, we left voice mails, but he never returned our calls. Our machine was supposed to be delivered within 21-45 business days after being ordered. When the allotted time passed we contacted Fit4Less to get a status on the delivery date.

When you call their customer service number (310)570-****, you get a recording with 2 options, Sales or Order Status. Every time we selected Order Status it would go straight to voice mail and no one ever returned our calls. So we started selecting Sales and we would get to talk to a person, but they were not the right department. When we got lucky the sales rep would put us on hold and get the status for us.

When we were not so lucky the rep would transfer us to the right department, it would go to voice mail and no one would call us back. When we were able to talk to someone we were told the delivery date was Dec 4th, which came and went. Then Dec 16th, which came and went and then Jan 4th and still no machine. We did receive the complimentary floor mat in mid November.

Finally we were offered a full refund on Jan 7, 2021 because the shipment kept getting delayed. We agreed that we wanted our refund. We were told by Ashley via email on Jan14, 2021 that our check was mailed that week via USPS and we still have not received it. During the last 6 months we have called them 38 times, had several email exchanges (attached), and 4 chat sessions which they started to close once we put in our Invoice #2044 and would ask for a status.

We filed a complaint through the BBB and the company is still dismissing us and putting us off. This has been a very a frustrating and stressful experience.

User's recommendation: This company appears to be a scam. Read reviews on BBB, trust pilot, and google.

Monetary Loss: $3349.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

I sure will. I noticed on the BBB site that those who reported them to the Attorney General received a message that the AG couldnโ€™t find evidence of fraud and closed the complaint, so I figured it was useless to go that route.

I read their reply carefully. Just getting to know who Iโ€™m dealing with. This is giving chest pains.

I may step away from this for a couple days, the the authorities do their thing. Letโ€™s keep in touch with any updates

Iโ€™m now going through the same problem. William now said Iโ€™m getting a refund in 14 business days.

A number they like throwing around. Iโ€™m not waiting a minute longer. William said they refunded me and closed my account. My account must stay open until I see a refund.

The lies are unbelievable Iโ€™ve hired a PI in LA, contacted LAPD who will be working with the PI, my bank who are investigating deeply, FTC, BBB and a fraud website Iโ€™ve found. The PI said even if theyโ€™re not physically in the office, they can be found. It will probably take a couple weeks, but itโ€™s better than sitting and wondering. I will also expect them to reimburse all my expenses and interest on my money.

Iโ€™ll let you know how it goes. They are thieves and will get what they deserve for ripping so many people off.

Thanks for letting me know. It's good to know I'm not alone, although I'm not happy you are going through it also.

BBB administratively closed my case.

Have not figured out why yet. Lets keep in touch on this.

You can see my complaint here, and on all the other complaint sites. Working together is WORKING to get us closer to refunds and stopping these crooks.

I know itโ€™s so frustrating trying to work with liars, scammers and thieves like these. My PI has all my emails to and from them.

Theyโ€™re still investigating and it will take some time. Iโ€™ Iโ€™ll let you know when I hear something I did look up the address where they said to ship returns and itโ€™s a storage facility. Iโ€™ve talked to Them and theses no unit in this companyโ€™s name, but that doesnโ€™t mean they donโ€™t get returns there. I also tried to email the โ€œsales departmentโ€ and when I sent it, it came to me.

They imbedded my email address in theirs so they donโ€™t get it, I do. So that was a waste of time. These useless low lifeโ€™s arenโ€™t worth the dirt on the bottom of my shoes. Hiring the PI was they way to go.

Theyโ€™re doing the rest of the leg work.
